What does it take to create a plant-based milk that actually tastes real?
That’s exactly what Marialuisa, founder and CEO of Al Naturale, shared on the Get Cereal podcast with hosts Ella Le Fournour and Harper Pestinger.
Coming from Italy, where food is full of life and flavor, Marialuisa moved to Melbourne and couldn’t find a plant-based milk that tasted real, one that truly reminded her of nuts. So, driven by curiosity, she started experimenting with almonds, filtered water, a pinch of sea salt, and a date. That simple recipe became the heart of Al Naturale.
Today, her handcrafted Almond 20%, Almond 8%, Walnut, and Hazelnut milks are made in St Kilda using activated nuts, no preservatives, no sugar, no oil, and only four real ingredients. They’re smooth, energizing, and taste just like what they are: real nuts.
As the podcast hosts said after tasting them, “It tastes like eating real nuts!"
